Developed by the in-house SAFETY LAB in conjunction with the first company to ever file the patent for motorcycles airbag in the 1990s, AIRDPS Technology has become a benchmark for safety on two wheels. Working closely with the Japanese partners for the trigger and pneumatic parts, SPIDI was able to integrate the device on several models, ensuring total efficiency. Never was a system so precise and safe in activations, nor are there external elements that may limit the effectiveness (magnetic fields, batteries, rain, cold, sand). Accuracy and safety are guaranteed by mechanical activation (performed in 179 milliseconds) through a Kevlar cord covered by a sheath.
