Thanks to its versatile attachment system - featuring two front connectors that can be hidden when not in use - the Thermal Jacket can be easily paired with outer shells and waterproof mid-layers, or worn comfortably on its own.
The 100 g/m² insulation provides excellent warmth for mild to cold conditions, while elasticated cuffs and hem offer effective wind protection. Inside, a spacious Velcro-fastened pocket adds practical storage for everyday essentials.

The project took full form in 1998 with the presentation of the very first ERGO jacket. The STEP-INWEAR system is based on a similar research made in the military aeronautical apparel. At the base of the system there's a "shell” conceived to accommodate the different internal linings; four combinations can be set to respond to a variety of temperatures.
