SPIDI motorcycle gear is designed with the support of racers and adventure motorcycle riders from all over the world. Since 1977 SPIDI has introduced patents and innovative features in their motorcycle jackets, pants, suits, gloves and protectors to increase riders' comfort, safety and performance in every riding condition, both in summer and in winter.
Every leather, textile or mesh SPIDI product is CE/UKCA certified as Protective Personal Equipment for motorcycle use according to the 2016/454 UE Regulation: this means every material, fabric and components has been tested to check its resistance in the case of a crash. Moreover,  chemical tests are carried out to verify the harmlessness of all the substances contained.
CE certified protectors are featured in all SPIDI jackets and pants. They're removable, thus meaning you can use you jacket in a lighter version whenever you're not using your bike.
All SPIDI shoulder and elbows protectors are developed and produced by SPIDI Safety Lab, the research and development lab supporting SPIDI innovation projects since many decades. Protectors can be Level 1 or Level 2 (the best performing) and can always been replaced by a different Level. Different types of protectors are available: Warrior Light (softer and lighter), Forcetech (pre shaped mid density) and Bio Mechanic (rigid and articulated). 
Back and Chest Warrior protectors are also available as optional for every SPIDI jacket or suit: Warrior technology features 3 layers shaped as a squared-blocks structure, designed to efficiently spread out the shockwaves.
