The SPIDI Rain Chest InsideOut Lady (X107) is a lightweight and versatile rain jacket designed to provide complete protection from rain and wind, thanks to its H2OUT® membrane, which is both waterproof and breathable. Its INSIDEOUT system allows it to be worn either under a SPIDI jacket — to reduce wind impact at high speeds — or over any other garment as an independent waterproof shell, easily adapting to changing weather conditions.
Made from nylon with polyurethane coating and featuring a fixed mesh lining, it weighs approximately 300 grams and is easily packable, making it ideal for travel or daily commutes. The fixed mesh lining offers high moisture-dispersion capabilities, significantly enhancing comfort even when the jacket is worn directly on the skin, such as over a simple t-shirt. The shaped collar ensures optimal comfort during long rides, while the elastic cuffs and hem prevent air and water from entering, maintaining effective protection whether the jacket is worn over or under other layers.
Compatible with the STEP-INWEAR system, it can be combined with thermal layers to provide protection in any season, making it a practical, technical, and indispensable garment for riders seeking comfort, safety, and freedom of movement even in rainy conditions.

The project took full form in 1998 with the presentation of the very first ERGO jacket. The STEP-INWEAR system is based on a similar research made in the military aeronautical apparel. At the base of the system there's a "shell” conceived to accommodate the different internal linings; four combinations can be set to respond to a variety of temperatures.
