The Italian full grain high-performance cow leather, with thickness of 1.1 to 1.2 mm, is also used to build SPIDI top-class racing suits: with and incomparable abrasion resistance, it is a fundamental factor to get AAA Class CE certification keeping a reduced weight and an elevate comfort. The DP Progressive is indeed a CE prEN 17092-2:2020 Class AAA certified jacket with external Warrior shields on the shoulders, removable internal Warrior Lite Protectors in the shoulders and Force-Tech protectors in the elbows. For additional protection there is an internal arrangement for either a level 1 or 2 Warrior back protector, and a Warrior chest protector, both sold separately. High-tenacity elastic Flex Tenax Nylon 6.6 flex sections on the forearms and elasticized leather inserts on the back gives great comfort in racing position. Zip fastener and clips are provided for attaching pants, while an adjustable waist fastening ensures a perfectly tailored fit. Generous air intakes and outlets are positioned on the arms and on the back to guarantee an adjustable ventilation.
